It is so happened that my former groupmates had their summer practice in Veliky Novgorod. The practice in itself was an excavation of a 'Church of the entrance to Jerusalem' that is situated in the heart of Novgorod's kremlin. The remainings of that church were accidentally found in 2009 during simple cable installment. Construction of the temple was started in 1336. And now, seven centuries later students of Saint-Petersburg State University, future art historians dig in to explore the past!
